SimplyEV Warranty Policy - Effective from September 14th, 2023

Our Commitment:
At SimplyEV, we emphasize our prompt support, extensive product knowledge, and readily available parts. Our objective is to address any issue you face and have you back on the road swiftly.

Warranty Overview:

  1. Standard 1-year limited warranty for all electric scooters, electric bikes and other vehicles excluding final sale items.
  2. Final sale items come with a 30-day limited warranty.
  3. Extended warranty options (1, 2, or 3 years) are available through Extend  (https://www.extend.com/) after the manufacturer's warranty expires.

Standard Warranty:
Electric scooters, electric bikes, etc - whether purchased directly or via our retailers, receive a 1-year limited warranty. 

The 1-year limited warranty starts upon delivery and is for intended scooter/bike usage. It covers essential components like the battery, motor controllers, motors, and throttle/display. Each component can be claimed once during the active warranty period.

Exclusions from 1-year Limited Warranty:

  • Frame or its parts
  • Lighting systems, switches
  • Wear and tear (e.g., brakes, pads, tires)
  • Rental or commercial usage
  • Damages from water, accidents, or misuse
  • Physical damage (scratches, dents, etc.)

Maintaining your scooter is crucial. Issues arising from neglect, exposure to elements, modifications, or misuse won't be covered.

Support Options:

  1. Self-repair: We provide guidance, videos, and more for DIY fixes.
  2. Service locations: We connect you to our service point. Labor costs apply.
  3. Shipping for service: You can send the scooter to us. While you cover the shipping to us, we handle the return shipping and labor for warranty repairs.

Final Sale Warranty:
Final sale items, though new and of high quality, come with a 30-day limited warranty. Extended warranties are available via Extend (https://www.extend.com/)

Filing a Claim:
Reach out with details, photos, or videos of your issue. For specific brands, we may ask you to refer directly to the brand directly. Brands like Minimotors / Dualtron scooters are supported locally, even discontinued ones.

Shipping Coverage:
For warranty-covered issues within the first two weeks of delivery:

  • We cover part, labor, and shipping costs. After two weeks:
  • You cover the shipping to/from us; we handle the labor for warranty repairs.

Transfer of Warranty:
Warranties are transferable. Subsequent owners need the original purchase receipt.
